Skills we need
AI training jobs: the skills robots need
These are the AI training jobs we hire for: skilled gamers and skilled professionals whose moves robots can copy. Robots learn physical skills by watching people who do them well, so we only take the best. Apply free with up to three skills, and accepted trainers are paid per task.
Which gaming skills train robots?
Five kinds of games build skills robots are short on. Racing lines teach self-driving cars, flick shots teach robot arms, flight paths teach drones, tidy planning teaches warehouse robots, and VR hand control teaches humanoids. Pick your genre to see what it trains, or read how you can get paid to play games that train robots.
Which job skills train robots?
Robots that drive, fly, build, farm and pack learn fastest from people who do it for a living. We look for drivers, pilots, builders, farmers, architects and designers, warehouse staff and lab staff, and the trade knowledge no game can measure.
- Truck and delivery drivers. Lane keeping, merging and judgment calls on the road teach self-driving trucks and delivery bots.
- Pilots. Smooth approaches and calm recoveries teach drones and air taxis.
- Warehouse workers. Picking, packing and moving through aisles teach warehouse robots.
- Builders, farmers, designers and lab staff. Operator skill, gentle handling and spatial judgment teach construction machines, field robots and lab arms.

How do I prove my skill?
Take one of the six free skill tests. Each takes about 30 seconds in your browser, with no sign-up, and a strong score goes on your Trainer Card as a proven skill. It's optional, but it boosts your application.
Once accepted, your work proves the rest: tasks that pass quality review move you up the trainer ladder. Paid playtests are part of that, as paid game tester tasks that open as higher-paying missions from Skilled. Pros may also be asked for a license or a portfolio before missions that need one.
