Get paid to play racing games
Yes, you can earn from your racing game skills. Self-driving cars and delivery robots learn from people who drive well: smooth lines, safe braking and calm reactions when something goes wrong. On Metagaming, racing and driving sim players record driving demos and judge robot driving clips, paid per task from $1.
The missions

Why it's worth something
Your driving trains real cars
Self-driving systems are good at the everyday and weak at the strange: a car pulling out without looking, a slide on a wet corner, a road that doesn't match the map. Teams teach those moments with examples of people handling them well, and sim racers spend hours doing exactly that.
Racing builds two skill tracks. Navigation is reading the road ahead and choosing a clean line. Speed is reacting the instant something changes. Prove both in the free maze game and reaction time test, and your scores go on your Access Pass.
Drive for a living? Truck, bus and delivery drivers can add their trade too. See driving missions for professionals.

This list shows the genre, not which games missions use. Each mission names the games it records, and we only add a game after checking that recording it is safe with its anti-cheat.
A controller is fine to start. Some Record missions ask for a wheel and pedals, and they say so before you accept. Tell us your setup when you sign up so we can match you.

FAQ
Racing game questions
Can you really get paid to play racing games?
Yes, for specific missions. Self-driving and delivery robot teams need examples of clean, safe driving and of how people handle the unexpected. Racing and driving sim players record those demos and judge driving clips, paid per task. There's no pay for idle play.
Do I need a steering wheel?
Not to start. A controller works for many missions. Some Record missions ask for a wheel and pedals, and the mission says so before you accept it. Tell us your setup when you sign up so we match you.
What rank do I need?
You can start as a Rookie with the skill arenas. Record missions open at Pro, judging driving clips at Elite, and remote driving of real robots at Expert.
Does a real driving licence help?
Yes. Professional drivers can add their trade to their Access Pass for driving missions built around real-world experience. We check the licence before those missions, never at sign-up.
