Metagaming pays people to teach robots the skills they already have. You can make money playing games and doing quick skill tasks: claim a free Access Pass, prove what you're good at, then take paid missions from $1 per task.
Three steps
From sign-up to your first mission

Get your Access Pass
It's free and you must be 18 or older. Tell us your setup, the skills you're best at and any real-world trade. It takes about a minute and holds your place in line for missions.

Prove your skill
Play the skill arenas. Scores you save go on your pass as proven skills, next to the ones you claimed, and proven skills are what labs look at when they choose trainers.

Take paid missions
As robotics companies and AI labs post missions, we match them to trainers with the right skills and setup. Every task pays a drop, from $1.

Play
Play training games built around a lab task: fly a drone through gates, steer through traffic, sort a warehouse. Your inputs show the robot how it's done.

Record
Record yourself doing a task a lab has asked for, in a game or sim you already play, with our desktop recorder running.
- From Elite
Judge
Review recorded runs and robot attempts, and label what went right and wrong. Labs use these labels to check what their robots learned.
- From Expert
Teleop
Drive a real robot remotely, live, under a lab's instructions. It's the highest-trust work, for proven trainers only.

Before you start
Do I need to be good at games?
No. The arenas measure skills like reaction speed and accuracy, and real-world experience in a trade counts too. Everyone starts as a Rookie and ranks up from there.
Do I need to download anything?
Not to join. The skill arenas run in your browser and the Access Pass takes about a minute. For missions in PC games, we email you our free desktop recorder when your spot opens.
When do missions start?
Missions open in waves as robotics companies and AI labs launch projects. Your Access Pass holds your place in line, and we email you when a mission fits your skills and setup.
